About Us

We started 9 years ago with 2-3 weavers at Phulia cluster and gradually our family grew. Today, we are a big weaver family including women weavers who, besides taking care of all household chores, are actively involved in the weaving process. We are working with various products and fabrics, incorporating new ideas and designs alongside maintaining the traditional touch of Bengal.

The idea is to combine traditional and modern styles and outlook to come up with an extraordinarily unique collection of products which would benefit both the weavers and customers. The hand weaving skillset is passed down to generations with all the small tips and tricks to bring out the best of work.

We believe that as a community, we have a responsibility of saving this cultural heritage of our country, to do our best to enrich the lives of the weavers and help them build a better future for their families and their skills. We aspire to do every bit to enable them to nurture their skills so that they can bring out the best in their work. It’s only when they are uplifted that the handloom industry will also grow and we will be able to preserve and take forward this beautiful heritage of our country.
